Granite Island

Just off the coast of Victor Harbor, Granite Island is a stunning natural wonder known for its rugged coastal scenery, rich history, and diverse wildlife. Connected to the mainland by the Victor Harbor Causeway, visitors can walk or ride the famous Horse-Drawn Tram to this breathtaking island sanctuary. What to See & Do on Granite Island

  • Spectacular Coastal Walks – Explore the Kaiki Walk, a loop trail around the island featuring dramatic cliffs, ocean views, and hidden rock formations.

How to Visit Granite Island

Granite Island is accessible via the Victor Harbor Causeway, either by walking or taking the iconic Horse-Drawn Tram. Entry to the island is free, and visitors are encouraged to bring comfortable shoes for exploring.
